Hi, I have CNRclient in my system and it has worked before. Now, when I try to install Audacity from CNR.com, firefox asks

"what should firefox do with this file?". Ok, when I posted this, I found Help and how to associate CNR to Firefox through

Edit/preferences/Apps/CNR. But I don't see the option--"open with CNR"....I just see "always ask" or"use packages".

Am I in the correct preference area of Firefox? Mike.

In firefox, Edit>>Preferences, then click the Content tab, then click the Manage button in the File types section.

A dialog will open, enter CNR in the box, then click the Change action button.

A Change action will open, set the default app to open the .cnr files.

See attached sereenshots.

Hi JDoyle, thank you for the information. I forgot to mention that I am using Firefox Beta3,

and the menus are a little different. FYI, I went to the preference pages and found CNR, found many options

including "other", but not Default CNR. If I understood the Linux file system , I probably could have found the correct file

to associate. Therefore, I learned how to un-install CNR, re-install CNR, and this time CNR with Default showed up

under Firefox preferences and I am running fine now. Thanks again, Mike.
