Hello, I am registered on CNR and am using FREESPIRE. I am logged in and when I click on a program to download and install I notice what looks like the "system" is doing something. Can see the icon for CNR putting up a notice saying initializing or installing. When I check the download window from FIREFOX, the programs are listed, when I click on the open link, nothing happens. This process takes only a few seconds, I am on dialup so those programs can't be downloaded that fast. I can't find them listed on the program menu after seeing the install notification from the CNR icon. This is suppose to be easy, and I am not a newbie with computers or linux. I don't understand what is going on with this CNR at all.
