Hi

I've downloaded the CNR client . Using GDEBI.. package starts to install but stops and I get the following error:

Error: dependency is not satisfiable
libapt-pkg-libc6.7-6-4.6

I know libapt-pkg-libc6.7-6-4.6 is a virtual package but beyond that I am lost as what to do. Any help getting CNR would be appreciated.

Using Kubuntu 8.10 KDE 4.1.2

libapt-pkg-libc6.7-6-4.6

The version you already have may too new. Can you you downgrade that package?

I'm pretty new at this. Do you mean to downgrade Kubuntu to 8.04 or earlier or downgrade the libapt? If it is the latter I don't know how to do that.

I mean the latter. With the package from the 8.04 repos.
