GiMP: Failed to calculate dependencies??

Attempting to reload the GiMP with CNR, I received the following error message:
      1. Installation status for GIMP: Failed to calculate dependencies

I ran apt-get update/upgrade from the shell, but it changed nothing.

Which distribution were you installing it on? We had an issue with the Asus 1.6 distro but that got resolved today I believe. Let me know if its still a problem and we will look into it.

When I had this problem, it was because I was using an Alpha release of my Linux platform.

When I loaded the STABLE release, this problem, among many others, disappeared, and have not returned, so far!
