We installed Linspire on one Laptop and Ubuntu 8.04 on two Laptops
for our sales team.
The Linspire laptop is working like a dream but we have CNR
problems with the Hardy 8.04 laptops.
After the last updates from Canonical, the CNR client stopped
initializing.
- "Initialization status: Error writing database"
To shed some further light on the subject; today we took a
laptop off the shelf that we had installed Ubuntu 8.04 on last month.
CNR worked fine until Ubuntu updates ran, then CNR stopped working
on that laptop also. So....we can confirm that the latest Ubuntu
updates breaks CNR.
Its my understanding that qt4-dev-tools are required,
nevertheless, cannot install qt4-dev-tools because we get a "BREAK
(install)" from Adept_Manager.
Apparently QT dev tools conflicts with qt3-llinguist,
qt3-designer, qt3-assistant, and qdbusviewer. However, we have none
of those installed.
There is obviously a dependency problem here but we cannot figure
out what changed in the latest Ubuntu update. We're stumped.
Any Ideas?
