As a relatively new user of linux (6 months), I have spent several frustrating days attempting to find information for uninstalling applications. Thanks to an answer provided by Dr. Jones, to a previous similar enquiry, I have finaly discovered how to complete the uninstall. This experience has done nothing to enhance my experience with linux, which I switched to after many years of simlilar frustrations with Windows.
