Client and 8.04 64bit Ubuntu

I have installed the cnr client and it is trying to install and updated version and keeps failing. It does not work now and keeps configuring itself for 7.10. It also is giving me an "Unkown error" when it looks for its update. What can I do to fix this problem?

Sorry I am of no help, but this is why I am afraid to load Ubuntu onto My 64 machine.

We have this same problem. Ours stopped working after ubuntu updates were installed.

CNR worked fine on every machine until udaptes were installed from Canonical.

After each PC recieved an update, CNR stopped working. CNR worked on all machine prior to Ubuntu updates.

I don't think even Dr. Jones can fix this one; Shuttleworth's team will probably need to address this one.
