I have tried to download many applications from CNR but cannot because they are for Freespire 1.0 and Linspire 5.0 and "are not available for your version".

Case in point xDVDShrink says that it was updated 4-28-08 but it was not updated for Freespire 2.0 and I am sure that there are others in the CNR that are only for prior versions which you have cut off from using unless they udate to 2.0 yet the apps are for 1.0. Very frustrating.

Also why is it when I uninstall an application that it says that it "failed" to uninstall yet on the applications page details it says success? Which of these am I and anyone else to believe?

If there is a way to capture the screen as there is in windows ALT print screen and save in wordpad? I would have sent the info and would not be limited to the description such as it is.

From the Freespire forums (posted by Dr.Jones):
CNR.com was originally populated with products from the Legacy CNR Warehouse (needed to start somewhere), then repositories for Freespire 2.0, Linspire 6.0, ubuntu 7.04, etc. were added to that baseline. Products for Linspire Five-0 and Freespire 1.0 have always existed, but the issue is building a CNR Client (that has the correct libraries as dependencies) for the legacy OS's. If there are Legacy Applications that you think should have priority to be ported to all distributions, then pls. provide input...

Don't quite understand your second issue.
