Hi i went to a store at my country and they were selling really cheap Linspire 6.0 with a Guide included.

WHat i want to know is : Can Linspire 6.0 support pppoe to connect to the internet?

Because i am using a KiwiLInux only because it has that support.

For example can i with Linspire enter the console and type

sudo pppoeconf -Hit Enter

And start configuring my connection.

I believe it does.

You should really ask this question on the Linspire support forums: http://forum.freespire.org/index.php

There is a section there for Network issues for Linspire: http://forum.freespire.org/forumdisplay.php?f=64

You will probably get more complete assistance there.

Anyway i bought Linspire6.0 and configured now at running live the net and it worked.Yeah it was supported.

Now when i launch from the live CD the CNR it doesn't start ,or when i try to install from Cnr you have not set your preferences it says ????

Any help is greatly appreciated because when it is installed works great ,the only thing remain to do is to install Linspire over my KiwiLinux.

Please answer.

To use CNR.com Live on either Linspire 6.0 or Freespire 2.0 a user account is required. Once booted Live goto Launch > Programs > System > KUser (User Manager), then Add User, enter name of new user, Set Password, and finally Quit Kuser. Log out (don't Restart ot Turn Off) and login with the Username (case sensitive) and Password just created, and cnr will function at that point (might require deletion of the packages file in /var/lib/cnr/client)...

;) yeah i will install it to my laptop ,anyway cause i don't want to lose all of my software in KiwiLinux which i have build up quite good.

About my RAM ,i think i have enough for a Linux OS , 4GB should be much more than enough for a Linux OS.
