From the console command prompt pls enter: seamonkey
If all is good at that point, right-click the desktop icon, select Properties, then select the Application tab and modify the Command: seamonkey

This is what I get and I can't find a desktop Icon.

It says all downloads are to the desktop but none show up there.

In the programs, internet menu there are icons but none will open the program.

I used apt-get to remove and reinstalled only to get the same thing

I found that going to -launch,-run command, and typing in seamonkey it comes up but the mail setup refuses to advance beyond the identity screen. It starts off on the stmp and the wizzard appears when I click on the add account but it stalls when I add the information and click next. I've never had a mail setup start at SMTP. that is usually the last screen???
