Need to re-load OO2

Open Office 2 has a process where it restores files and a window pops up to show which file needs to be processed. The trouble is that the control buttons for the pop up window are out of reach. I've tried to adjust the setting for the size of the pop up but no dice. I thought I would re-install OO2 but CNR won't let me do it. The error message says "the program is already installed". Assistance is respectfully requested regarding:

1. How to re-size the pop up window; and

2. What is the path to the OO2 program directory so that I delete it, and what is the name of the OO2 file? This issue also comes up when I want to change a helper application; thanks.

1. I don't know about resizing, but if you hold down the Alt key while draging the window with your mouse you can access the hidden buttons.

2. The file you want is ~/.openoffice.org2
Remove (or better, rename) it, and you should be good to go. No need to reinstall OOo
