Thanks, it is indeed sorted and is now installed on my laptop.

For what it's worth the instructions from CNR to get it authorised are in error, the username and password is wrong. What I needed to do was this:

  • Order Pixel through CNR
  • Go to the Pixel website and use the lost password form to determine your username (likely to be email) and password
  • Use these values to authorise Pixel

Likely to be a bug that someone needs to sort at CNR.

Anyways, thanks to all involved in getting the process sorted.

Yes, the link worked but all it did was to resend the info received the first time round which contained the duff username and password.

PM sent Dr Jones.

I tried to purchase the Pixel Image Editor a few moments ago. All I received was a short text file labelled Pixel_Image_Editor.CNR.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<cnr-client>
<product-id>17185</product-id>
<product-name>Pixel Image Editor</product-name>
<action>INSTALL</action>
<user-auth-token>FE13F005-B3A3-BD58-A080-F07D60152025</user-auth-token>
</cnr-client>

Pls. verify the CNR Client is installed. From the console command prompt:
Laptop:~$ apt-cache policy cnr-client
cnr-client:
Installed: 0.2.3690-0cnr1~feistyskipjack1
Candidate: 0.2.3690-0cnr1~feistyskipjack1

I'm using version 5.2 and apparently the right CNR client is not installed. From the download instructions it appears I'm out of luck until I change to version 6.

Sorry, correct, CNR.com doesn't currently support Linspire Five-0 (build 5.1.427)...
