i am new to linspire. how can i read ebooks purchased online and downloaded? they are down loaded in adobe format, but the linux version 8.0 does not support ebooks. i am having to purchase and read them on an old windows machine that will only run adobe 6.0

not quite sure below is the file name and how it opens in linspire 6.0

in windows adobe starts says is seeking permission and then down loads

In order to open .etd files, you require the eBooks
plugin for the Adobe Reader. However this is not shipped with the Adobe
Reader for Linux. You would presently need to use the Windows version
of the Reader in order to view the files.

We will take your
point into consideration and see if the feature can be added in any
future release of the Adobe Reader on Linux.
