LinDVD is now available for Freespire and Feisty. Gutsy will follow on soon.

Dr. Jones wants me to clarify that this is for users who had previously purchased LinDVD and is not meant to indicate that you can now go and buy it. :-)

ok, thanks. it shows in my purchased products but found when I tried to install to Gutsy last night it wouldn't install actually I am using Ubuntu Studio but it's still 7.10 so I don't think that will matter?

If the OS is identified as Gutsy then you should be able to use the Gutsy repository on CNR for installing applications. We haven't run the import to hook up LinDVD to Gutsy yet so please wait before you try again.

Yes, it took longer to get to than I had hoped, but we started the import process today. Look for Gutsy access Monday afternoon at the soonest or Tuesday afternoon by the latest.

Kewl, thanks BD. I had tried it with Feisty tonight and it installed but when I played a movie no audio and then after a reboot, no play at all. Might have been a Feisty issue not sure.

Not precisely. I believe Corel is working on a newer version. The older version has a dependency that is not met in the newer distributions and so it is not functional. When I find out more I post it here.
