CNR Initialization Failed

I just installed Freespire 2.0.3 on my Dell Optiplex. Freespire launches fine, but I can't seem to get CNR running so I can use the 1-click download feature. When I click on an "Install Now" link nothing happens. When CNR 1st launched it wanted to update itself, so I let it. When it launches it says that the initializtion failed and under the configuration tab there are no Operating Systems Supported in the listing. I assume that both of these are problems, but I'm a total noob and didn't find any support docs to get me rolling.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Same issue posted here: http://community.cnr.com/message/1260#1260

Try Dr.Jones' solution.

Try the following:
Right-click the green CNR icon in the system tray, then select: Exit
Open Computer, browse to /var/lib/cnr/client delete: packages
& /var/cache/cnr/client/lists delete: _var_cache_cnr_client_dists_linspire_arch_binary-i386_Packages
Restart CNR
That should hopefully resolve your CNR Client issues...

Of the two files listed above, I deleted the 2nd one no prob, but there wasn't any (file or folder) that had the name 'packages'. It's still not working.

I am having the same issue and I was able to delete both files. I was working fine until today.

It could be a server side issue today. They have had some issues lately...
