Start CNR from a konsole (terminal) with the command: cnr

Leave the treminal open. Try to install it again, any errors will be text output to the open terminal.

What are the errors?

Have you tried with apt?

http://wiki.freespire.org/index.php/Using_Apt

Open a konsole and run the command: sudo apt-get update

After it updates run: sudo apt-get install ksysguard

That should get you back where you want to be...

I think you have more going on than just uninstalling ksysguard...

How did you break it, before you uninstalled it?

i had the applet on one of my pannels and i had more than one display so i went to go configure it and i accedentally clicked something like "don't display image" and i was never able to fix it so i figured it would have been easyer to uninstall it and re-install it and it would have been all good. But not only did it get rid of the applet it got rid of my "Task Manager" and thats why i want it back so badly, but unless i can get a simaller "task manager" program and and a graph of my CPU usage im going to need that back.....(well the graoh is more of a want)

But i need some Task Manager type thing to end tasks becaus im always messing around and needing to end tasks(Control+Alt+esc doesnt always work) and adacity likes freezing and not ending all the time....i think you get the point

You can also try the commands: sudo apt-get -f install

And: sudo dpkg --configure -a

Instructions:

http://www.cnr.com/supportPages/aboutDownloadPluginInstructions.seam#Linspire6.0

It says Linspire, but the procedure for Freespire is exactly the same.
