Dr. Jones,

After several months, which I'm sure were as frustrating for you as they were for me, I tried CNR again on Linspire 6.0.15. I'm using a Dell computer with an Athalon 386-64 dual core CPU and, as you know, this has been a show-stopper for using CNR until now. I'm happy to report that your CNR runs fine on my machine. I've been able to install Adobe Acrobat Reader and Ning Po Mah Jong (two of my favorite programs) with ease. Additionally, CNR installed 144 updates without a glitch.

I'm one of those people who believe in customer loyalty. I started my Linux experience several years ago with Lindows and was very happy with it until the changes last year - particularly in regard to CNR. I'm glad to see that you seem to have ironed out the kinks which plagued the transition. I applaud you for weathering the immense customer pressure (and, in some cases, abuse) during this time.I know your team put a lot of hard work into restoring CNR to its former user-friendliness. Congratulations to all!

Chris

Unfortunately, no, it is not, and it never will be. However, I am able to run it in VMware Workstation just fine (albeit a little laggy!).

Some of my favorite CNR.com games:

Sauerbraten, Alien Arena (MUST HAVE!!).

Games I wish were in CNR (and probably never will be):

Quake Wars: Enemy Territory, Qauke 4, Doom 3, etc..

Games I wish were in CNR (that have a chance of making it in)

AssaultCube.

This is all off the top of my head, either way, it doesn't matter. I have a PS3. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing new LGP games make it into CNR again. As for Lore, I'm hoping to get it back into CNR (just waiting to get in contact with Ed) & getting a tarball uploaded for Linspire (I play it myself in Kubuntu 7.10 with no issue).

I see the game has now been updated in CNR. http://community.cnr.com/images/emoticons/grin.gif

I was about to post saying the serial numbers should be added to the main description, but then realized I could add it myself. http://community.cnr.com/images/emoticons/cool.gif

Now all we need there is the new Ballistics game from LGP. http://community.cnr.com/images/emoticons/wink.gif

Favorite card game is Hearts. CNR offers it for Gnome Desktop. I use Freespire's KDE. Is this a problem?
