wussup guys

I'm totally new to Linux. I got free-spire installed and loll I don't know one command line of Linux at all. I downloaded some games from cnr. But I don't know how you install them! Can someone tell me how to install the games? Tell me step by step and in basic plain English. remember I don't even know one line of command! Also Can someone link me to a website that has a very very very very basic explanation of simply command lines to run in Linux. just like how to install programs and if not so complicating basic setting changing commands.

thanks all

happy holidays

Hi khan,

If you installed a game from CNR then there should be an icon on the desktop and failing that there should be a short cut to the application in your start menu.

You know what? I installed Quake2 about a month ago and there was know icon in the start menu and no shortcut on my desktop.. Now i can't figure out how to uninstall. Isn't there supposed to be an option on CNR to uninstall? I can't find one. I have a pretty big book on the program but all it says is to go to CNR...

FYI: I am also brand new to Linux and am using Freespire.

Thank you doctor... Well i reinstalled quake2 but still cannot seem to run it. The program did not show up under my games menu nor a shortcut on the desktop, and when i did finally find a .real executable file, i double click and nothing happens. So i guess i'm just out of luck? I'm running freespire ver.
2.0.6 and have a video card...
