Hi,

I succeded to install the client, but the package freespire-archive-keyring could not be found. Also when I do sudo apt-get update i get this

W: GPG error: http://apt2.freespire.org gutsy-extra Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 67415A2AE9DF4EC5
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

, which I guess might be because the package was not install.

Am I missing something in the sources list maybe?

Sorry, but I added the two sources as recommended, uncommented the two lines for backports, and I still get the following errors:

edited and added to sources.list:

deb http://apt2.freespire.org/CNRUbuntuExtra gutsy-extra main restricted
deb-src http://apt2.freespire.org/CNRUbuntuExtra gutsy-extra main restricted

I then ran, as root:

#apt-get install freespire-archive-keyring

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Couldn't find package freespire-archive-keyring

I then ran, as root:

#apt-get update

W: GPG error: http://apt2.freespire.org gutsy-extra Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 67415A2AE9DF4EC5

I am running Ubuntu 7.10 gutsy, Kernal 2.6.22-14-generic, on a Dual AMD 64 Opteron CPU system. While these are 64-bit processors, I thought I installed the 32-bit version of Ubuntu 7.10 for now.

OOP's, on the Gutsy test machine guess I once had the CNRUbuntuExtra feisty-extra sources. Looks like the package isn't yet available for Gutsy, but that's being resolved (you could run on the wild side, cross the repository streams and use the CNRUbuntuExtra feisty-extra sources to resolve the GPG error, then replace the CNRUbuntuExtra gutsy-extra sources - tested this works). New package has been built and will soon be available...
