I am running Ubuntu 7.10 AMD 64 Gutsy: I downloaded the Client Package and when I went to open it, it said Error: Wrong architecture ' i386 '. So where do I go from here?

Have you tried the force architecture option?

sudo dpkg -i --force-architecture packagename.deb
