CNB

Stands for Click N Buy. It refers to commercial Linux software or services offered at CNR.com

CNR

CNR is a one-click digital software delivery service for desktop Linux software programs, packages and libraries. CNR allows desktop Linux users to install, uninstall, manage, and keep updated, thousands of software programs on their Linux computer. It is sometimes used to describe the process of downloading and installing software, as in "You can CNR the Firefox software with one click."

CNR Account

In the CNR Account, you will find a list of your services and CNB that have been purchased, your billing profiles, your personal information and your purchase history. This is also the place where you'll be able to edit you personal and billing information as well as renew expired services.

CNR.com

CNR.com is a free one-click software delivery service designed to standardize the process and eliminate the
complexity of finding, installing and managing Linux software for the most popular desktop Linux distributions, both Debian and RPM based. The goal of CNR.com is to normalize the process of finding and installing software for desktop Linux users, regardless of which distribution they are using.

CNR.com Beta Application Testing

This allows CNR registered subscribers to beta test specific applications in CNR.com.

CNR Customer Care

The CNR Customer Care helps you with any billing issues or account problems such as signing in, password changes, email addresses updates, upgrades, refunds and cancellation.

CNR Newsletter

It's everything you need to keep up-to-date on CNR.com. Get the latest news, software reviews, new product releases, commercial product specials, tip-n-tricks and more!

CNR Client

The CNR Client is a light weight software application that allows you to install and manage software programs on your computer.

CNR Software via Command Line

A method of installing software via a text-based prompt. (for advanced users)

CNR Voting Booth

The CNR voting booth is a place where CNR users can nominate and vote for the software they would most like to see added to CNR.com.

Community Support

The CNR.com Community is always friendly and positive and can help provide you with responses to a wide variety of questions and issues. You can read information on the community forums and search for solutions, but to ask questions or post comments you'll need to become a Registered User. It's free to register!

Diagnostic Report

The diagnostic report is a tool that lets you submit CNR errors directly to the CNR team, making it easier and faster to resolve CNR errors.

History

History is a tab in the CNR Client that displays a detailed record of all your previous CNR activities such as the details of each installation, uninstallation and update.

Install Time

Install Time refers to the estimated time it will take to download and install a particular piece of software from CNR.com.

Interactive Forum Access

Forums are the place to ask questions, answer question, give ideas etc.

Newsletter Subscription

Once you sign up for a CNR account you will automatically be added to the CNR Newsletter. You can unsubscribe by going to your CNR Account.

One-Click Software Installs

CNR users can install thousands of software programs on their Linux computer, all with just one click.

One-Click Software Uninstalls

CNR users can uninstall software programs with just one click of their mouse.

One-Click Software Updates

CNR users can update their installed software programs with just one click of their mouse.

Personalized Public Aisles

Aisles are groups of software with common features collected in one Aisle in CNR.com. For instance, there is an
Education Aisle that includes several software titles appropriate for educators.

Personalized Private Aisles

You can set your own security level for Private Aisles to only be viewed by those with a particular password, email account, or domain. This is a great feature for IT managers to set up Aisles they use in their company for setting up new computers without others seeing what their Aisle looks like

Premium CNR Specials

Once a month, Premium CNR Service holders will receive via the CNR Newsletter one discount off a commercial software.

Product Nomination Privileges

CNR Service Subscribers can nominate and vote for software they wish to see added to CNR.com.

Product Page Editing Privileges

Every CNR registered user can help contribute to the content of product pages. Users can contribute to screenshots, user reviews, support information, descriptions, release notes, and so on. Each product page
has a mini forum/wiki where invaluable information can be learned and shared about each software.

Product Voting Privileges

Basic registered CNR Service users can cast 3 votes and Premium CNR Service Subscribers can cast 10 votes.

Software Update Notification

CNR users are automatically notified of available updates to software they installed through CNR.

Updates

Updates are revisions to software in CNR.com.

User Ratings

Users can review any product in CNR.com and give it a rating from zero to five stars. This is called the User Rating.
